We are pleased to inform you that the publishing contract for the Proceedings of the 7th International Conference on Manufacturing Process and Technology (ICMPT 2026) has been fully signed with Springer Nature, and the volume has now entered the production stage.

In accordance with Springer Nature’s publishing policies and contractual requirements, all final manuscripts and required supplementary materials must be submitted by the deadline below.

Please submit all required files by email to: ksmpe@ksmpe.or.kr
The final manuscript must be prepared and submitted in Microsoft Word format.
Each paper must be at least six (6) pages in length.
A completed submission checklist must be included with the manuscript and all required supplementary files.

1. Manuscript Format
• LNPE papers follow Springer’s MathPhysSci reference style.
• Numbered citations should be used in the text (e.g., [1], [2], [3]).
• Final layout and styling will be handled by Springer Nature through XML conversion; authors do not need to apply final formatting.

2. Chapter Abstract (Mandatory)
• Each chapter must include one English abstract.
• Abstracts will be published on SpringerLink as openly accessible metadata for indexing and discoverability.

3. Alternative Text (Alt Text) for Figures (Mandatory)
• Alt Text must be provided for all figures, illustrations, and image-based tables.
• This is a mandatory requirement under WCAG and the EU Accessibility Act.
• Alt Text should be submitted in an Excel file.
• Use of Springer’s AI-based Alt Text Assistant Tool is optional; manual preparation is also acceptable.

4. Color-Critical Figures (If applicable)
• All figures will appear in color in the eBook; however, the printed version may be in black and white.
• If color is essential in the printed version, please list the relevant figure numbers in a separate Excel file.

5. Third-Party Materials & Copyright (Mandatory Check)
• If your chapter includes third-party materials (figures, images, tables, photos, etc.), you are responsible for obtaining publication-ready permissions.
• Production cannot begin until all permissions are cleared.
• Authors are strongly encouraged to minimize the use of third-party materials.
